The L206 is a portable active battery-powered speaker, which is quite powerful considering its compact size: it is capable of high sound pressure levels together with a clear and uniform acoustic performance.The loudspeaker is equipped with 6.5″ woofers for the low-mid band and five 2.5″ drivers for the higher frequencies.Sound processing uses linear phase FIR filters, a feature usually found in high-end professional loudspeakers, resulting in a perfectly linear phase response, to the benefit of intelligibility and faithful reproduction of the vocal range.The box has an integrated 3-channel mixer: 2 mic/line combo inputs, each with independent volume controls and independent reverb effects.The third channel has an AUX minijack input that can alternatively be dedicated to Bluetooth stereo streaming.

This means you can send the signal to two speakers at the same time with just one computer, smartphone or any other Bluetooth stereo-equipped device. This is a very useful feature for creating a small stereo PA for music playback, for example.The cabinet design increases its versatility: you can use the L206 as a desktop PA, a full range PA on a pole, or even as a wedge for vocals or an instrument. Several on-board EQ presets optimise the L206 for different uses. The built-in battery has a standard battery life of 4 hours.
